THE MIDLAND RAILWAY.
REDUCTION OF THE PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Christchurch, March 4. The Property Tax Reviewers to-day reduced the assessment of the Midland Railway Company, £775,928 6s, to £260,737 4s 9d, being the amount which the Company objected to as not representing its assets in the Colony.
