BISHOP LUCK BOUND FOR ROME.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, February 26. Dr Luck, Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, who left to-day on a visit to Rome, was presented to-day with a purse of sovereigns by the clergv and laity of his diocese. The Very Rev Father Paul, VicarGeneral, made the presentation. Bishop Luck was a passengers this evening by the Tarawera on his way to Rome. He originally intended to leave next week, but as Archbishop Carr and Bishops Higgins and Moore were returning to Australia he decided to accompany them to Sydney. He will leave Sydney for Europe in one of the Messageries Maritimes Company’s steamer.
