COLONIAL BORROWING.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. A EARNING. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, February 28. Westgarth’s Monthly Circular, in an article on colonial borrowing, states that trouble is certain to arise if. it .is continued. It adds that influential city men insist that the colonies must abstain from constant demands on the London market, and consider that if New Zealand can manage without borrowing others ought also to be able to do so.
