ADMIRAL LORD SCOTT.

(per press association.) Auckland, November 11. A letter received from his Excellency the Governor by the Mayor of Auckland, Mr Upton, states that the Farl of Onslow has written to Admiral Lord Scott offering him as a residence the Government House at Auckland whilst he does not occupy it and while the Australasian squadron will be here, and tho Government House at Weiingtou on the same condition.
