DANGER.
Few weeks now a-days pass by but what the community iB startled by the intelligence that seme prominent citizen has been struck down by sickness or disease The constant strain on the nerves and the cerebral blood vessels caused by continual atten ion to w ork, thought, and business must toll its tale in the end ; tho constant worry of the struggle for existence will break np tho most robust constitution. Dr. Allen McLane, the recog. nised authority of the United States on cerebral disease, states that insanity is largely on the increase throagh the continual wear and tear, that he frequently has cases under his care, solely due to extreme mental fatigue. The practice of taking alcoholic stimulants to ensure a false energy is most baleful, and generally results in disease of the blood vesseis and finally paresis. With such facts staring you in tho face, and the medical profession powerless to grapple with the case, nothing can be done but have recourse to a reliable remedy like Clements’ Tonic. This article has proved itself the greatest remedy ever produced for sufferers from nervous diseases and the effects of over work or other debilitating causes. Clements’ Tonic is prescribed by the profession, because it knows that recovery Invariably follows its use, that its uniform composition is the greatest security for suffeiers, and that its pharmaceutical perfection and therapeutical efficacy can always be relied on. Mr P. J. Wallace writes from his residence, Kangaroo Valley, N.S.W. Dear Sir, —I have very much pleasure in bearing witness to the great value of Clements’ Tonic in cases of Lassitude, Nervousness, and Constitutional Dobility generally. For more than twelve months I was a martyr to extreme lassitude, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, and thoir concomitant train of physical troubles, so much so that I feared I should have to abandon my profession as a journalist, writing being particularly irksome and labourious to me. 1 tried several advertised tonics (?) with little or no good result, and began to think my case beyind the power of medicine to cure. However, seeing Clements’ Tonic advertised in some of my exchanges, I concluded to try it as a * dernier resort,' and I am pleased to say the remit was most satisfactory. After taking one bottle I found my appetite much improved ; I could sleep mere soundly, and felt refreshed next morning. I continued the medicine, taking in all six large bottles, and gradually »1! my distressing symptoms disappeared. = now feel myself stronger than ever, and as near perfect health as a man who huß to bear the strain of constant literary work can expect to be. I can confidently recommend Clements’ Tonic to all persons suffering from loss of nerve force through sickness or meutsl over, work, and am most happy to support my testimony with my signature. Yours faithfully, P. Jefferson Wallace. This is only one out of the hundreds of similar endorsements we are ccnstantly receiving. F. M. CLEMENTS, Newtown, N.S.W.
