DUNEDIN COURSING MEETING. (per press association.) Dunedin, August 14. The second day’s coursing took place at Forbury to day. The weather was splendid —rather warm for dogs. It has been arranged to have the third day to morrow, when the fourth courses and finals will be run off. Results : Champion Stakes (second round) —Smoko beat Ivanhoe, Stormy Night beat Presto, Bluecap beat Watermark, Snowball beat lona, Fugue a bye. Maiden Stakes (second round! Brilliant beat Ballet Girl, Titan beat Kinmore, Squib beat Tarawera, Revolver heat Lord Onslow, The Barracker beat Eau-de-Yie, Richmond beat Battle Cry, Vixen beat Flo, Miss Nancy beat Irißh King, Fireworks beat Jessie, Woodpine Rose beat Hard Times, Aimee beat Chance. First Sapling Stakes—Misfortune beat Beadonwell, Accident beat Miss Nelly, Overead beat Lady Linton. Dunedin, August 15. The Champion Match (fourth round) — Stormy Night beat Snowball,' Blnecap, a bye. Maiden (fonrth round) —Brilliant beat The Barracker, Revolver beat Vixen, Fireworks beat Aimee. Supplementary Stakes (third round) Fugne beat Emin Bey, Smoko beat Watermark. Maiden Stakes (fifth round)—Brilliant beat Revolver, Fire'vorks, a bye. Dunedin, August 16. The Champion Coursing Meeting concluded yesterday, with the following results : Champion Stakes. -Mr E. C. Gordon’s Blue Cap beat Mr W. Gardner’s Stormy Night and won the stake. Maiden Stakes,—Messrs Allen and Finlinson’s Brilliant beat Mr* A. Campbell’s Fireworks and won the stako. First Sapling Stakes.—Barney (n.s.) Ovorend beat Mr G. McGuire’s Carbine. Second Sapling Stakes.—Mr O. R. Urse’s Laburnum beat Mr J. Price’s Cora Lynn. Supplementary Stakes.—Mr W. Harley’s Smoko beat Messrs J. and W. Mills’ Fugue.
