[“The Storm King” is a tubular lifeboat built of mild steel. Her length is 30ft, with a beam of BAft. She left London on September 12 for Melbourne. Her crew consists of Captain Joergensen, constructor and owner, and a comrade named Nelsen. After crossing the Equator the small craft encountered very heavy weather, and did not arrive at Cape Town, South Africa, until March 2nd. She stayed in that port to refit, and left on April 16 for Melbourne.]
