annual distribution of PRIZES TO THE CITY RIFLES. ❖ The members of the City Rifles who were successful in carrying off trophies and money prizes in the various shooting competitioDS held by the corps during the season were presented with the fruits of their marksmanship at the Lyceum on Monday evening. Captain Collies occupied the chair. The attendance was very large, and the prizes were distributed by Lieutenant - Colonel Crowe,, who, in doing so, made a few remarks appropriate to the occasion.
