SCARCITY OF PHEASANTS
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, May 19. In consequence of the large export of pheasants and other game from Auckland to Sydney these birds are becoming scarce,.and the Acclimatisation Society have preferred a request to the New Zealand Frozen Meat Company to cease freezing them for export. The Directors of the Company have decided to grant the request.
