A French lady, upon the death of her husband, hit upon an idea of earning a living, which now brings her in quite a fortune. She hires out white pillows to railway travellers on the night journey between Paris and Marseilles, or Bdle, or Turin, and charges lfr each. The weary traveller, who does not care for the expense and trouble of carrying pillows with his luggage, is only too glad to pay the small sum which will give him a comfortable night’s rest. There is one lady in England who makes beautiful travelling pillows ; might it not be worth her while to bring herself into commercial relations with the railway companies ?
