BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
Mr Hean’s visit to the Colony to investigate the affairs of the Bank was judiciously planned, and
has resulted satisfactorily, inasmuch that finality has at last been disclosed. The expected and much-talked-of report by Mr Hean is published, and we give the text of it in another place. We believe the worst is now known, with a set-off. The general business of the Bank is declared by the special inspector to he excellent and capable of “indefinite extension.”
