THE ELECTRIC LIGHT.

Sip.,—Considering that the ratepayers are called upon to pay so very much heavier price for light than they did formerly, I certainly think that they deserve more consideration at. the hands of the Rlectric Light Company than they receive. In many parts of the city the lamps have never been cleaned only once since they have been erected, Look at the state they are in in Roxburgh street and Clyde quay —simply disgraceful. And who is responsible for this state of things ? Perhaps if j’ou .will kindly insert these few lines it will be the means of doing some good.—l am, <&c,, A Citizen.
