A LAND SPECULATION.
Auckland, February 13. A Whangarei syndicate has purchased the Tamautihinau block of 1200 acres of land, adjoining Puhipuhi and half a mile from the prospectors’ silver lodes. It is the only freehold block in the district; all the rest ia native iand that has not yet gone through the Court. The block lies right along the northern boundary of Puhipubi, and all the reefs yet found trend toward it. This land ia now under offer to Melbourne capitalists.
