A DROWNING CASE.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Mapier, February 12. (Mr Dick, a well known solicitor, formerly oeff (Dunedin, and son of Mr Thomas DL-k, of tbait cifcv, was drowned on Petane Beach toHe bad spent the night at Petane, and 'this morning started to walk to town, taking with him a towel, and announced his intension 4o bathe on the way. As he did not come to meet a client by appointment, the client went out to Petane, and found he had left hours before. A search was made, and Mr Dick’s dead body was found on the beach.
