(per press association). Timaru, February 4. Mr R. Turnbull, M.H.R., was waited on te-day by the Mayor (Mr Rosa), the exMayor, Mr Jonas, and Mr W. Evans, and presented with a substantial purse of sovereigns, subscribed by his constituents and residents of Timaru as a practical expression of sympathy in his long and painful illness. Mr TurnVhfil jig of.ill improvmg, but his progress is very slow.
