Freeman R. Jaekaon and Co.’s Johnsonville stock report Fat cattle came forward in average supply, all of good quality, suitable in size for tho requirements of this time of the year. A brisk demand existed, prices improving as the sale progressed. A moderate entry of sheep were penned, which also sold rapidly. Lambs made better rates. Pigs, in fewer numbers, maintained late values. Cattle—Bulloeks, from £5 2s 6d to £6 10s, averages £5 6s and £5 16s. Sheep— Fat wethers, 10s Id to 10a 5d ; lightweights, S 39d ; fat ewes, Ss 4d to 9s Id ; merino wethers, 6s 4d ; merino ewes, 53 ; fat lambs, 6s 7d to 7s 3d.
