In the Senior Cup football matches on Saturday Gordon beat Auckland by 1 point to nothing, while Grafton beat Selvvyn by 5 to 3. t , ,o Christchurch, July Id. The Merivale second fifteen in the Junior Gup competition started their match against Ghristchnrch second to-day with their seasobs. scoring at S!) points to nil, and at the finish of the game they had increased the scoring to 102 points to nil. So far this is rather a unique experience in Rugby football. ..
