DUNEDIN HOSPITAL.
(PER press association.) Dunedin, May 15,
At a meeting of the Hospital Trustees, tho Resident Burgeon reported that seven cases of typhoid fever had bean admitted, all coming from the same family, erideutly pointing to some serious sanitary defect in the house. it was decided to draw the attention of the Board of Health to the matter. It was resolved to admit no patients other than destitute persons until the Trustees had been consulted. The balance-sheet showed that the expenditure for the year had been less than the previous year, Jthe salaries and wages being less by £2OO, and provisions by £3OO.
