The Wellington Bowing Club will be represented by the following orews at the Christchurch Regatta, to be held at Lake Forsyth on Monday next : —Senior .Out* rigeers-T. McKay (stroke), T. Sullivan (No. 3), E. Bose (No. 2), J. Darby (bow), cox, H. Dix. Champion Pairs—E. Rose (stroke), T. Sullivan (bow). Senior Double Sculls—T. McKay (stroke), J. Darby (bow). Sculls—T. McKay. The crews will leave on Friday next. The senior crews will row in an outrigger kindly lent by tbo Canterbury K< A start was made with the rowing of the heats of the “Fitz Gerald Fours ” (Star Boating Club) on Tuesday. Two heats were got off? and both of them resulted m close contests. In the first heat Wallace (stroke). B. M. Mitchell (No. 3), G. Johnson (No. 2) and T Venables (bow) beat J. Stevenson (stroke), H. Pownall (No. 3), H. Elliott (No. 2) and H. Didsbury (bow) by about half a lansth. The second, heat was won bv G. Bichardson (stroke), O. Porritt (No. 3), W. H Cruiekshank (No. 2), W. J. Haybittle (bow), who defeated Burnes (stroke), Gilbert (No. 3), D. Tripe (No. 2) and E. L. Widdop (bow) by a quarter of a length. The DepptyCaptain (Mr E. Jaokson) started, and Mr A. de B.
