This arose partly, from the. unsatisfactory rc.viU of forr.js.if. experiences exhibitions., and partly from an unwillingness incur the expense of preparing msqifcita, showcases,. &c., as the presenj lime. A large number of papery were left at the places* visited. Tb,» following are the names of those v;b» have sent in applications for space —Miss E. Kate Sperry, painting p: , H. D. It is satisfactory to be able to report that, though the canvass was begun too late for the past clip of wool, thero is likely to be a very creditable display of New Zealand wool at the later Exhibition, as the Sheep Inspector, Mr Bailey, has undertaken to make a thoroughly representative collection, from the best flocks, and to furnish full particulars as to the character of the various localities in which the wools exhibited were jrrown.
