Vienna, April 18s The Emperor of Austria meets the Queen at Innsbruck on Monday. Bucharest, April 20. The agrarian revolt reported some days ago is subsiding. During the excitement the peasants committed terrible outrages, aud there were frequent encounters with the troops. Paris, April 20^ The Chamber of Deputies opened to-day. Boulanger delivered orations, to the crowds assembled as he went to and returned from the Chamber. There was no disorder at the opening of the Chamber. A vote of confidence in the Government, expressing a belief that they would ensure respect for the Republic and triumphantly carry a moderate policy of constitutional reform, was agreed to by a majority of 200. The motion was proposed in consequence of Boulanger’s demonstrations. ' The Government announced that they propose to nominate a committee to revise the Constitution of France on Saturday. In the Chamber of Deputies today M. Floquet stated that the Government favored a revision of the Constitution, and would be prepared to consider any well-defined proposal that did not aim at a monarchy,, or* that was not a cloak covering a, Dictator’s Throne. Vienna, April 22. Emperor Francis Joseph will lunch with her Majesty Queen Victoria on her arrival at Innsbruck. The Hungarian and Austrian press pay great respect to her Majesty, and express opinion that her meeting with the Emperor of Austria is evidence of the friendship existing between England and Austria, and a mutual alliance of the two nations.
