TT>kURING the last five-and-twenty years the number of Billiard Tables in use has multin P plied fifty-fold. The game in years paßt was an expensive luxury, enjoyed only by the rich. Now, however, the game is placed within the reach of all. We would particularly call the attention of private familes to our most recent invention—the Cottage Billiard and Dining Table—as those who can afford a separate room for Billiards are, of course, somewhat limited ; but by means of these convertible tables one room suffices for the ordinary purpose of a Dining Room as well as a Billiard Room ; and the tables are so constructed that they can be adapted for rooms of small size, and dine from 10 to 20 persons. We would also call attention to the fact that we have now made arrangements, to lend out on hire—on the hire-purchase system—all descriptions of tables at very moderate rentals, for fixed periods. This is a new feature of our business, and is becoming very popular. ME OF THE BEST. INVENTIONS CiF MODERN TIMES; .
