AFGANISTAN AFFAIRS.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, (reuter’s telegrams.) ' Calcutta, April 19. News has been received from Afghanistan that an engagement took place to the south of Ghuzriee, between the Ghilzai rebels and the Ameer’s troops. The latter, who numbered 5000 men, were defeated.
