WELLINGTONCOUNTRY RESIDENTS are respectfully informed that we are now showing our first importations of AUTUMN AND WINTER FASHIONS, which for novelty, elegance and sterling value have never hitherto becri Equalled in this City. We would desire to call special attention to the following statements as the reasons why we are now offering advantages to Customers superior to anything yet known in the Province. Ist . —We have a Buyer in the Home marlcets an eminently smart man, thoroughly acquainted with his duties and possessing taste, judgment, and a good knowledge of the value of all Drapery Goods, 2nd-—Our Buyer was for several years a resident in Wellington, and being a man of sharp acumen, became well aware of the requirements of those inhabiting Wellington City and Province. 3rd . —No other house in the City has a buyer with this special recommendation, and therefore we claim to be in the best position for minister ing to the tastes of our Customers with Exactitude. 4th- —We have imported for this Season's requirements a much larger Quantity of Drapery goods than usual, and are thus able to show an immense variety of Fashions and Novelties. Country customers invariably like plenty of choice when they come to town, and we hereby remind them that nowhere else will they get so great an assortment at at TE ARO HOUSE. sth. — We are still carrying on our DRESSMAKING departments in first class style, and all who can appreciate the luxury of a well made and excellently fitting dress can obtain it here without fail. 6th .We also have on the premises a superior TAILORING department, presided over by a Cutter of ac knowledged ability, who can guarantee a splendid fit with excellent workmanship. We have many thousands of yards of ENGLISH, SCOTCH, FRENCH, and PURE COLONIAL TWEEDS, Coatings , tfcc. well selected and specially adapted for Autumn and Winter wear. 7th.—We sell at the LOWEST ACTUAL WHOLESALE PRICES, we will cut any length, sell any single article as low as a Storekeeper Has to pay wholesale HOUSES EOR A QUANTITY. Bth- We shall at all times be pleased to forward Patterns of Dress Fabrics, Tweeds, and any other article that may be desired, free by post, and intending customer's can have measurement forms sent at the time, so that LADIES’ DRESSES and MANTLES, as also GENTLEMEN’S SUITS, may be made as well finished and accurately fitting as by a personal visit. Qth. —As a further Convenience to visitors to TE ARO HOUSE, there is on the premises a very Commodious, Airy, arid Comfortably fitted REFRESHMENT ROOM where Tea, Coffee, Cocoa and a variety of light refreshments may be had at any time during the hours of business, and at moderate charges. 10th.—THE PROPRIETOR is now devoting his time and energy to the interests of the business, may be interviewed at any period during the day, and will be happy to see all his old friends, and a multitude of the general public at TE ARO HOUSE.
