THE HEATCOTE ELECTION.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, February 2. _ Messrs A. Ayers and F. Jones were nominated for Heathcote to-day. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Ayres. Mr J. A; Williams nominated buoself, but could not find a seconder.
