REPORTED ESCAPE OF EMIR BEY.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (SPECIAL TO UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, January 30. Unconfirmed reports y state that Emir Bey has escaped. The English Government prefer the. route via Zanzibar for the expedition to Emir Bey’s assistance, but Mr 11. M. Stanley insists on the Congo route.
