THE FAITH-HEALER AND THE PRESS.
(united press association.) Dunedin, January 18. Mr Dowie, the faith-healer, held a fare* well meeting here, in which he indulged in a number of remarks about his experiences at Invercargill, and finding that the reporters present were not taking notes, he gave hia opinion of the unrighteous press of the Colony in language more forcible than polite.
