The TJ.S.S. Co’s ss Maitai left Westport at 1.20 am on Wednesday, and arrived here at 3 am yesterday. She experienced moderate weather with westerly winds throughout.
The ss Waverley left Patea at 1.30 pm on the Ist, and arrived here at 3am yesterday. She experienced thick weather and heavy sea throughout. The TJ.S.S. Co’s ss Hawea left the Manukau at 11 am on the 29th, and Taranaki at 10 am on the 30th ; called at Nelson and Picton, and arrived here at 6.30 am yesterday. She experienced fine weather with light wind throughout the passage. The ss Timaru left Timaru at 3.30 pm on Tuesday, and arrived here at 7 am yesterday. She experienced fine weather to Cape Campbell, thence strong westerly winds and rough weather to arrival.
