It is announced that 41,000 men have been added to the German standing army. Paris, November 25.

A portion of the Parisian press is reviving the controversy with reference to the Government of Egypt and the British occupation of that country. In the Chamber of Deputies the debate on the Budget is proceeding, and altercations between the Government and their opponents relative to reductions in the estimates are of' daily occurrence. Befusals of Irish tenantry to pay their rents are increasing. Bome, November 28.

In the Chamber of Deputies yesterday, Count Bobilant, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered a speech in which he laid emphasis on the trustful relations which exist between Italy, Austria, and Germany, and Italy’s unchanged friendship with England. Italy, he said, would labor to prevent a European war, but in any case would vigilantly guard her own interests.
