Melbourne, November 24. , Messrs K. Goldsborough and Company held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, the rooms being crowded with buyers. Five thousand bales were offered, and 3500 were sold. Biddings were spirited throughout, and for all good wools prices were firm. .Greasy wool realised up to llfd, and scoured and washed woe.ls to 18£d. Messrs Goldsborough and Co. report having sold during the week 5500 bales.
The Manager of the National Mort-. gage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports as follows' of the local market Wheat, weak, 4s lOd to 4s lid; barley, slow of sale, 3s 9d to 4s 3d ; oats, feed sorts, irregular, 2s 9d to 2s lid; milling, quieter and weaker, 3s to 3s Id; New Zealand oats' under bond, neglected, ,2s 2d to 2s 4d./ - ,
Melbourne, November 25. Sailed, yesterday afternoon —Mararoa, for Bluff. Mr Derham, Postmaster-General, will make a statement in the House on Tuesday next, as to the decisions of the Postal Conference.
Adelaide, November 25. Arrived this morning—Orient steamship. Lusitania, from Plymouth.
