ST. JOHN’S AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION, CANTERBURY.

The second annual meeting of the Canterbury centre of St. John’s Ambulance Association was held to-night. The report showed that six different branches had been established in various townships. A class for training ladies for nursing had been very successful, 81 having attended it. The medical men here have given their services willingly as honorary lecturers. A presentation was made to the retiring secretary, Rev Mr F. FlavelL
