New Zealand Times Office, Thursday Evening. The only vessel which has arrived from England during the week has been the N.Z.B. Co.’s Ton gar iro, from London, via Port Chalmers.. She did not discharge her Wellington cargo, but went to Auckland, whence she will return shortly. The week has been broken for business by the holiday on Tuesday in honor of the Prince of Wales’ birthday. In the previous week also there was a holiday.. There are no changes in prices to report. _ There is the demand usual at the season for wines, beer and spirits, but nothing calling for remark. The prices quoted for sugar remain as last week, namely, China, L 25 5s ; Fiji, white, L 24 10s to L 25 10s ; Auckland No. 1, L2B to L2B 10s ; No. 2, L 26 ; No. 3, L2O; American granulated, 1,27; Queensland Yangaree, L 26. urrants sell at SJ-d; sultanas, 6d to 6§d ; tigs, 7s to 7s 6d. Salmon —Cocktail brand is quoted at 8s 6d ; other brands at Bs. Star lobsters sell at 9s 6d to 9s 9d, and other brands at 9s.
