SCAB IN MARLBOROUGH.
(united press association.) Blenheim, October 27.
An outbreak of scab is reposted in Mr Godfrey’s flock, Tory Channel. Three ewes and three lambs are infected. Mr Godfrey obtained a clean certificate seven months ago. The country is very rough, and the flock numbers 700. It is considered better that the Department should buy and destroy them, and close the country for two years, thus stamping scab out.
