The U.S.S. Co’s ss Moa arrived alongside the Queen’s Wharf at 7.30 yesterday morning from Westport. She returned at 2 pm. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Omapere, from Southern ports, arrived at 9.30 yesterday morning. She left Dunedin at midnight on the 22nd, called at Oamaru and Timaru, and left Lyttelton at 2pm on Wednesday, arriving as above. She sailed yesterday afternoon for Auckland, via East Coast ports. The U.S.S. Co’s Hawea arrived at 4 am yesterday from Taranaki and Manukau. She left the Manukau at 2 pm on Tuesday and New Plymouth at 9 am on Wednesday, and arrived as stated. She brought down the outward English direct mail for the Aorangi. The Hawea sailed for Southern ports at 2 pm. _ The U.S.S. Co’s ss Rotorua left_ Dunedin at 2.30 pm on the 24th, and arrived in Lyttelton at Sam on the 25th ; left again at 9.30 j pm, passed Cape Campbell at 8.45 am yesterday, and arrived here at 12.15 pm. The U.S.S. Cos ss Wanaka, with the "Waihi in tow, arrived in port yesterday afternoon at 2 pm.
THE R.M.S. AORANGI FOR LONDON.
The N.Z.S. Co’s R.M.S., Aorangi, 2654 tons, commander Turpin, left the bay yesterday afternoon for London, via Rio de jeneiro, Teneriffe and Plymouth. The Aorangi takes a full cargo and a large number of passengers. The vessel is in good order and splendid trim, and a good run Home is expected.
