RAILWAY REVENUE.
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, September 2. In a letter in the New Zealand Herald, Mr Samuel Vaile asserts that the Hon Mr Richardson’s claim to have increased the railway receipts 10s per cent is founded on taking”the expenditure on opened lines only, not as in former years was done on lines opened and unopened.
