The annual meeting of the Young Men’s Christian Association was held at the Athenceum Monday night, when, despite the untavorable state of weather, over fifty members were present. The president (Mr Joseph Kitchen) occupied the chair, and, in a few words, introduced Mr David Walker, secretary of the Sydney Young Men’s Christian Association, who expressed the pleasure it gave him to be present at this annual meeting, and encouraged members to continue, in the good work, urging all to be united, and gave as an illustration of the fact that union is streDgth by referring to the success of the S,duey Young Men’s Christian Association.
