FIRST DIRECT MAIL STEAMER TO NEW ZEALAND.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, January 26.
The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advices from Hobart, dated January 26, that the R.M.S.S. Aorangi arrived there at 9 a.m. on that day. She is the the first direct mail steamer to the colony, and brings 200 bags of mail.
