The Government steamer Stella sailed for Nelson and French Pass Lighthouses at noon yesterday, calling at Soames Island and Pencarrow lights on the way. The ss Waverley left Patea at 10 am on Tuesday, arrived at Nelson at midnight, and left again at 6.30 pm on Wednesday, arriving here at 7.30 am yesterday. The following vessels were in port yester,|av —The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s ships Zealandia and Pleurae, and the New Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Orari and chartered barque Glenmore,.from London ; the Government steamers Hinemoa and

Stella ; the Union Steamship Company’s steamers Hawea and Waihi ; the steamers Waverley and Mohaka, at the Queen's Wharf; and the steamers Oreti and Grafton, laid up for repairs. The Government steamer Hinemoa, went on the Patent Slip yesterday morning to be cleaned. The ship Pleione was berthed at the Queen s Wharf yesterday.
