Messrs Weston and Allan Holmes report favorably to his Honor, the Acting Chief Justice, upon the legal attainments of the following candidates for admission to the New Zealand Courts ; Mr F. W. Pennefather, barrister, admitted elsewhere; Messrs Richard Butt and Galbraith, solicitors, admitted elsewhere ; Messrs Levi and Buckland (colonial students) as barristers ; and Messrs Gribben, Skerrett, Kirk, Kenner/, Haultain, Frauklin, Moorhouse, Sinclair, 1 Digaan, Doubleday, Kalliday, Richmond, Milne, and Stanford, al.-o colonial students, as solicitors. The last two gentlemen, who claim to hold the degree of LL.B., were examined merely in the New Zealand law and practice.
