Councillor Smith was not quite satisfied on Tuesday with Mr. Travers’ opinion rc the claim of the Hutt County Council to 20 per cent, of the proceeds of the reclaimed land and other provincial property. Mr. Stout the Council was not likely to discover a Portia on a subject of such delicacy.
