Tho following telegram from Hobarton, appeared in the Launceston. Examiner of November 13 :—“ 12.3 p.m. H.M.S. Dido is hard and fast ashore at BatteryPoint, having overrun her speed when leaving the harbor, and gone stem on to the Foint. The ship is not expected to be got off until the tide rises, about 2 o’clock p.m. 5,46 p.m. The Dido got afloat a little before 5 o’clock, apparently not damaged. Now anchored."
