Mr cll t of there being no competition in any class, Mbe given if the Judges certify to particular merit; My are specially l'equested to withhold prizes in cases M- i ie re there is competition, if the exhibits are of inferior jffuimals which they consider have any hereditary unsoundness ; and in classes, 4,5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, to see that they are perfectly sound; and in class 14 and 15, to take into consideration weight carrying capability combined with activity ; and they shall also have the paces of classes 14 and 15 tried. In Merino as well as Longwoolled Sheep, the Judges are requested to take into consideration the following points according to their classes : Fineness, length, closeness, and quality of staple, also symmetry, frame, and purity of breeding of the animals. If in the opinion of Judges, sheep have been tampered with in shearing or otherwise, they are requested to pass over such animals. N.B.—The supporters of the Association are reminded that the Annual Subscriptions are due; and in order to enable it to meet the prizes offered, it is respectfully requested that the Subscriptions be paid at an early date to the Secretary, who will I give a printed receipt card for the same. 1 September, 22, 1875.
