The Pubbe, therefore, are caut’oned against using anv other than DR J“. COLLIS BROWNE’S CHLORODYNE. REITUDJAL USES AND ACTION. This invahiab'e remedy produces quiet, refreshing shep, relieves pain, cairns the system, restores the deranged functions, and stimulates healthy action of the secretions of the body, without creating any of those unpleasant results attending the use pf opium. Old and young may take it at all hours and times when requisite. EXTRACTS PROM MEDICAL OPINIONS. The Right Hon Earl Russell communicated to the College of Physicians and J. T. Davenport that he had recewed information to the effect that the oulv remedy of any service in Cholera was Chlorodyne.—See “Lancet,” Deceinber 3.1, 1864. From A. Montgomery, Esq, late Inspector of Hospitals, Bombay.—“ Chlorodyne is a most valuable remedy in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To ifclfaL'v owe iny restoration to hea’tb, after 38 month’s suffering, and when other remedies bad lulled.” Dr Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (Dec., 1865) that in nearly every ease of Cholera in wVnoh Dr J; Collis Browne’s Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recovered. Extract from “Medical Times,” 12, 1866. —“ Chlorodyre is presc-ibed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course it would not thus he singularly popular d d it not * supply a want and fib a place-’ ” Extracts from the General Board of Health London, as to its efficacy in Cholera.-r—“ So strongly are we convinced of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too f&rcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all eases.” Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as CHLOROi/YNE, from which frequent fatal results have followed. See leading article, “ Pharmaceutical Journal.” August 1, 1869, which states that Dr J. Collis Browne was the inventor of Chlorodyne ; that it is always right to use his prepartion when Chlorodyne is ordered. Caution. —None genuine without the words Dr J.
