R. M. COURT, FEATHERSTON.
(Before H. Wardell, Eeq, R.M.) Constable Hargood v H. Burling, sen.— The defendant was charged with having left a working bullock with a dislocated leg for some days ’ without food or water. The Resident Magistrate said that he was glad the information had been laid, but did not consider the evidence sufficient to warrant a conviction. He therefore dismissed the case. Same r D. C. M‘Bougal.—Defendant was charged with using threatening and abusive
language. Fined 10s, and ordered into recognizance to keep the peaoe for three months. _ Martin v SPDougal.-—Debt, £35 16s sd. Judgment for £8 I6s 5d and costs. • Taylor v M'Dougal.—Debt, £9 7a 6d. Judgment for amount and costs. Tully v Cundy.—Claim, £l, for possession of house, &c. Settled. Same v Same.—Claim, £5 for rent. Judgment for amount and costs.
