TO CORRESPONDENTS.

A person of the name of Hector, from Kororarika, has ad. dressed to us a letter, complaining that in the paper of the 15th January, “a gross libel was published on a person named Shaw.” We have to inform Mr.. Hector that we know nothing at all about himself' or his friend Mr. Shaw—that we had nothing to do with this paper at the time he speaks of —that we shall take no trouble whatever in finding out the author of the article complained of. Mr. shaw, for aught we know or care, may have deserved all that he tgot in that article; at all events, we have nothing to do ‘either with Mr. Shaw, or his friend Mr. This is our only answer to Mr, Hector’s “ kororo.”
