Commanders of Vessels bound to and from the Port of Auckland,should be very careful to avoid a Rock lying about a mile and a half to the Eastward of the- island Tori Tiri Mautangi. Bearing from the Southern extremity of the Island N.E. $ E., from a remarkable white rocky islet near the Northern extremity of the Island, S.E by E. -| E.,and from the centre of the Little Barrier Island due South, This Rock has about 2 feet water over it at low water, and 15 fathoms water within. For further particulars of this Rock, and another dangerous Rock to the Northward of Wyheki Island, lately surveyed by order of His Excellency the Governor, will be given in the next Government Gazette,
