NOTICE is hereby given, that a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors of the New Zealand Banking Company, will be held at the Bank House, Kororarika, on Thursday, the 16th day of December next, at 12 o'clock, precisely, for the purpose of taking into consideration a requisition from Shareholders at Auckland, on the propriety of effecting an immediate removal of the Head Quarters of the Establish, ment to Auckland, on the ground of its being the seat of Government, and the centre of the most important business of the Institution.
