HOSES TURNED ON RIOTING SYDNEY COMMUNISTS: Men and women" of the Communist Party staged a demonstration last Wednesday on the Woolloomooloo Wharf, Sydney, where the British vessel, Stirling Castle, carrying Dutch troops, was berthed. They booed and hooted and threw plates and bottles at the ship. The Dutchmen retaliated by drenching the demonstrators with streams of water from the ship s fire hoses.
