POST-GRADUATE COURSE

43 NURSES ATTEND At present in Wellington to attend .i j post-graduate course are 43 nurses who will complete their studies this month. This is the largest number yet to attend the course. The nurses are representative of practically every hospital in the Dominion and one in Fiji. Light sisters, who have returned from service overseas, and who have obtained bursaries, are included. FAMILY ENDOWMENT Under the auspices of the Auckland University College advisory committee of adult education a lecture on famih endowment was given yesterday morning at the adult education building io Symonds Street. Mrs T. Blood worth presided. Mrs Blood worth, president of the National Council of Women. Mrs R. C. Clark and Miss J. Allen, of the Family Endowment Society executive committee, spoke of the necessity for universal family endowment, and gave reasons why the means test should be a bolished.
