(Pilot Officer)—Foxton. Weatherley, V. (Flight Lieutenant)—Petoae. FEDERATED FARMERS WAIKATO PROVINCE FORMED (0.C.) HAMILTON, Thursday A conference of representatives of the Farmers' Union, Sheepovrnjrs' Federation and Dairy Producers' Association met in Hamilton yesterday and decided to form the Waikato province of the Federated Farmers of New Zealand. The area will comprise the counties of Waikato, Matamata, Piako, Waipa, Otorohanga. Waitomo. Raglan and Kawhia. A further meeting will bs held early next month to elect a council and to organise branches. Tributes to the work done by Mr W. Marshall,, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co.. Ltd., in bringing about the fusion between the various producers' interests, were paid by shareholders at the company's annual meeting yesterday. CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY . MEMORIAL TO MEMBERS As a memorial to the late Mrs Julia Fonton and her husband, the late Mr Roger Fenton, the Auckland Chamber Music Society has decided to establish a library of chamber music accessible to chamber music players. The music, distinguished by an appropriate bookplate, will be incorporated in the present Lewis Fady music library at the Central Library. Mrs Fenton. who died last April, was a foundation member of the society and for many years worked untiringly as concert organiser. Her husband was associated with the Auckland Choral Society for over 50 years, as well as with the Chamber Music Society. The society is asking its members to contribute toward the memorial either in money or in chamber music work* worthy of inclusion in the library.
